The proposal was more of a mutual agreement. This wasn’t the first time we had experienced the “talking until dawn” phenomena, it’s a wonder how we didn’t reach this conclusion sooner. At that moment, it was all about us as the rest of our lives should be. We’re both incredibly lucky to have found each other and truthfully, we all knew this was coming. We buried ourselves in each other and realized this was it. This is how we’re going to spend the rest of our lives: enjoying each others’ company while in the company of others and always yearning to come home to each other. We went home at 6:30am that morning to sink into bed and into our new roles as future husband and wife.

It Happened in Manhattan Beach!

This is the story of how we met. The official one that we’re sticking with. We met in Manhattan Beach. Two people on the corner of Manhattan Beach and Highland. Two people who ended up sitting next to each other. And two people who talked each others ear off. Midway through, he got up to “feed the meter” and the fact that he came back meant that our afternoon would carry itself to the evening. Dusk arrived and the sun would return again before we’d go our separate ways. Not only did we communicate on the same wavelength, but we struggled to outsmart, outwit, out-joke the other. Thus began the journey.

Chemistry. We have it.
